CONCEPT

OUT is a videodance project between ethnograhpy, architecture and landscape, which is realized by producing dance performance, video works and installation of visual art.

The project investigates the exposure meaning, of showing itself, of make outing, but also to be out, to be marginalised, isolated, abandoned, by contexts and public interest.

The project relates the anthropized and natural spaces, the no-lived and lived places, in a dialectic which shows how to hide actually is to exhibit and how to exhibit is a way to hide.

OUT is an aesthetic project with a social aim: to reveal how the waste we produce is one of the most devastating effect of our contemporary life, not only as form of environment pollution, but also as social alienatin.

DESCRIPTION

OUT is a open, modular and in progress project.
The videodances are serial depending on the different context in which they are made.
For each context is made a various videodance.
In this way it is produced a geography made by several documented territories.
The final outcome is a videodance series each with its original choreography.
The set-up of the exhibit is composed by video projections and live dance performance.

STRUCTURE

OUT is organized by moments of study, exploration, research, documentation.
The phase of study analyses the context in which the work session is made through texts, direct testimony, photo and video documents.
The moment of the exploration indagates the site of context in which the next phases will developed. This phase defines the areas of play, the possibilities of actions, the technical detalis for the framing.
During the phase of research are realized the choreographies born by the direct relation with the landscape and architectural context.
La The final part of the structure is the documentation, the moment in which the work is documented on a digital support in video format. parte conclusiva della struttura è la documentazione, il momento in cui il lavoro svolto viene documentato su un supporto digitale in formato video. The post produciont is also part of this phase.

At the end there is the set-up of the opera produced. Its realization is adapted to the hosted venue. The performative part palyed live can be shown during the opening or take a permanent connotaion with daily performance.
