Senza Confini Di Pelle is a project of experimental research in the language of performing arts that was born in 2002 in Turin, Italy and it’s run by Dario La Stella and Valentina Solinas. Every show is a critical study of contemporary world. Our shows mix the performative language with political contents. With our research we work to produce meaning on artistic doing: each opera is an original work born by a conceptual idea. We start from this conceptual idea, and we translate this abstract idea in material facts. At the end we compose these material facts by performing art language to create the final opera. Senza Confini Di Pelle finds his highest expression in live performance using the body as a central element of his formal research. Our project synthesizes dance, theater, performance, video language, text into a unique performative container. Senza Confini Di Pelle has worked in very different situations and contexts: international performing art festivals, projects with citizens, workshops with Universities, urban regeneration projects, performing theatre work with handicap people, sharing projects between art groups, creating performance, events and shows of performing art. In 2011 the company made a tour in USA, where it played his show “15 Landscapes” in two theaters in NYC, it performed inside the Annual American Geography Meeting in Seattle and it taught a workshop about performance at the University of Washington Bothell, where it was in residency.
In 2011, with the international project Add Up, it starts a collaboration with several artistic groups and residency places like San Paolo – Brazil, Kuhlungsborn - Germany and Italy. In 2013 ”Add Up Space and Power” is one of the 3 choreographic projects selected by “Metamorphoses”, a project with the support of the Culture Program of the European Union and initiated by La Briqueterie/CDC Val de Marne (Vitry sur Seine, France), Les Brigittines – Contemporary Art Center for Movement (Bruxelles, Belgium), Centrum Kultury Zamek (Poznan, Poland).
